Slatwall Panels from shopfitDIRECT
Introduction to Slatwall
Slatwall is an extremely popular versatile and robust storage and display solution. Due to how economical and space-saving it is as well as the vast array of slatwall fixtures and fittings available on the market, it is one of our best selling lines of shop fittings. It makes storage and display of products and merchandise very simple as well as easy to move and alter depending on the display.
Slatwall is most commonly used to line the walls and pillars in a retail outlet. It’s tiny footprint, versatility and price make it ideal the ideal solution while the vast array of slatwall fixings and fixtures mean it is possible to display a whole array of products. Slatwall, with it’s superior strength, more aesthetically pleasing appearance and wider range of accessories such as hooks, prongs, acrylic slatwall shelves, arms and brackets, has gained much more popularity the world over compared to rival products such as gridwall and pegboard. It is one of our most popular shop fittings with us delivering hundreds of panels each day across the UK.
Slatwall from shopfitDIRECT
Here at shopfitDIRECT we only sell premium shopfitting grade slatwall panels in 1200mm x 1200mm or 2400mm x 1200mm. Our melamine-faced MDF panels are routered using top of the range computer controlled machinery and are manufactured to your exact specification. As standard we use a 100mm pitch on the slat walls. The pitch is the distance from the centre of one slat to the centre of the next. We can tailor our manufacturing process to provide you with the exact slatted panel you are after, whether it is a different size pitch, slatwall cut to size or only a portion of the panel slatted.
We offer slatwalls in sixteen different finishes to create your perfect look or fit in with your current shop fitting layout. We offer range of coloured or wood-effect slat wall or ‘raw’ which is MDF without the melamine finish. This is also known as ‘paint grade’ as you can paint the slatwall to any colour or shade of your choosing.
We deliver slatwall all across mainland UK. We palletise and carefully secure the panel with wooden packers and steel banding. This ensures your premium slat walling is delivered to you in perfect condition. We have written a guide to taking delivery and storing your slatwall which is worth a read.
We also sell a range of coloured PVC and aluminium inserts for use in the wall slats. These improve the aesthetic appearance, weight-bearing ability, keep accessories held firm and also cover the sharp edges where the melamine has been routered.
Our range of slatwall system profiles help to complete a project with a professional appearance. Slatwall butting joins give a professional appearance to a full run of slatwall boards while internal and external corners cover corner joins and end trims any exposed edges. Full details of using these are included in our Guide to installing slatwall panels.
Ordering your slatwall panels
Before you buy slatwall it is best to measure up so you know exactly how many slat wall boards you will need. As slatwall is so bulky and heavy delivery costs can be quite high for an extra panel or two. It is best to make sure you order the quantity you need or even over order by a panel or two incase you mis-cut or damage a panel during installation.
You can order over the phone or online through our secure website. We can usually deliver next day if ordered before 11.30am, we may need to allow an extra day for very high quantities for bespoke pitch or panels cut to size.
